Sharena Sol, translated from Bulgarian means a mixed herbs and salt. And this is exactly what they are – Bulgarian, Jewish, Afrikaans, English, Mozambican – multinational, multicultural band.
Often described as Balkan Swing – Jazz Combo with a difference. The instrument that Stanislav plays with this group is an Excelsior Art van Damme model, which was developed for the famous Jazz Accordionist, Art van Damme. This instrument produces a mellow, sexy sound, which gives a different edge to the music they play.
Repertoire:
Gypsy Jazz Band music is a fusion of gypsy and jazz improvisations with a touch of klezmer. Their repertoire ranges from jazz standards to well-known gypsy jazz, pop and classical tunes.
